Dyana Limon-Mercado

Dyana Limon-Mercado serves as the Travis County Clerk, where she leads a team of more than 200 employees responsible for election administration, records management, and vital county services. Under her leadership, the office has advanced strategic initiatives to modernize systems, strengthen cybersecurity, and improve the accessibility and efficiency of services that reach hundreds of thousands of residents.

With a background spanning public leadership, policy, and organizational management, Dyana brings a results-oriented approach to innovation and collaboration across departments. As former Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Texas Votes and Chair of the Travis County Democratic Party, she has successfully led complex operations, built high-performing teams, and implemented data-driven systems that enhanced communication, transparency, and performance outcomes.

She has also served on several equity-focused boards, including the Austin ISD Equity Advisory Committee and the City of Austin Commission for Women, reflecting her commitment to inclusive governance and community-centered solutions. Dyana holds an associate degree from Austin Community College, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas State University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
