Austin Creative Reuse - Volunteer Opportunity

Looking for a fun way to help Mother Earth this Fall? Come join the Leadership Services Committee as they partner with Austin Creative Reuse for a morning of volunteering at their new space where we'll be helping to sort beads, detangle yarn, organize art supplies, and other donations that they receive on a daily basis.

Austin Creative Reuse is a non-profit that diverts materials from the landfill by inspiring reuse in the community to creatively use what we have on hand and to rethink the unthinkable. How can they turn trash into treasure? To date, they have diverted more than a million pounds of materials from the landfill, and instead put them in the creative hands of the Austin community where supplies are affordable and accessible to a wide variety of folks.

Pre-registration is required. Limited volunteer spots available. Volunteer spots are available to AYC Members only. If you're not an AYC Member, please email AYC staff at info@austinyoungchamber.org.

In-Person Event Expectations for Attendees:

✅ Masks required for all individuals

✅ Wash or sanitize your hands frequently

✅ Greet each other with non-physical contact

✅ Maintain social distancing when possible

✅ Stay home when appropriate

✅ The Austin Young Chamber reserves the right to update these protocols should City, County, and/or State guidelines change.
