Board Training Program Presented by I Live Here I Give Here

Wednesday, November 2, 2022 (9:15 AM - 5:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

Shape the future of Central Texas.

The Board Training Program cultivates the next generation of philanthropists, board members and community leaders for Central Texas. Nonprofits need diverse and informed community leaders to steward their missions. Produced in partnership with Nonprofit Austin at Austin Community College, Austin Young Chamber, Courtney Clark, Impact Austin, and The New Philanthropists, the program creates civic leaders who are immediately prepared to serve our community by connecting local professionals with Austin area nonprofits in need of well-prepared board members. Participants leave the program ready to commit their time and leadership skills to a cause they are passionate about.

The Board Training Program consists of two levels of learning: instruction focused on the application of best-practices in a nonprofit board setting, and practical learning with current nonprofit staff and board members. During the sessions, participants will hear from nonprofit experts who give a real-world context to the material.

Please note you will be redirected to an external website to complete the application. Applications are due by Friday, October 21st.
