The Leadership Service Committee is excited to partner with Healing with Horses Ranch for a morning of volunteering at their ranch where we'll help clearing brush and building burn piles on their 38 arcs of trails. This project helps the ranch keep it's facilities safe and accessible for use during therapeutic riding lessons that help people with disabilities, at-risk individuals, and veterans address a variety of challenges.
Healing with Horses Ranch's mission to promote resilience and independence in mind, body, and soul and guide our group through the project. They envision setting the standard for equine-facilitated therapy through collaborative research, instructor training program and continued professional development for their own staff.
Pre-registration is required. Limited volunteer spots available. Volunteer spots are available to AYC Members only. If you're not an AYC Member, please email AYC staff at info@austinyoungchamber.org.
