Description
The Leadership Service Committee is providing you an opportunity to give back! Join us at Pickle Elementary School with Side by Side Kids to work with kids on a fun craft and activity.
Spots are limited and registration is required. Registration will close at 12pm on January 20th.
Pre-registration is required. Volunteer spots are available to Young Chamber Members only. If you're not a Young Chamber Member, please email AYC staff at info@austinyoungchamber.org.
About Side by Side Kids
Side by Side Kids (SBSK) is the only free, faith-based afterschool program in East Austin. They serve 300 elementary students annually in some of the most under-resourced neighborhoods, where thousands of kids have no supervision or safe place to go after the bell rings. SBSK encourages and equips our children through personalized homework help, a healthy meal, mentoring, and faith- and character-building curriculum.
In-Person Event Expectations for Attendees:
✅ Masks are strongly recommended for high-risk attendees when not actively eating or drinking
✅ Wash or sanitize your hands frequently
✅ Stay home when appropriate
✅ The Austin Young Chamber reserves the right to update these protocols should City, County, and/or State guidelines change.
