The Leadership Service Committee is excited to partner with Special Olympics Texas for their 3rd Annual Breakfast with Champions for a morning of volunteering with their athletes. Please note registration will close on 10/15 at 4pm.
At this event Law Enforcement officers, athletes, families and supporters will come together for a fun and exciting morning full of entertainment and inspiration. It will also feature some of their athletes sharing their astounding stories while raising awareness and funds for their fellow Special Olympics Texas athletes. Breakfast will be provided and all they ask is you open your eyes, ears, and heart to their athletes! As a volunteer you will be partnering with athletes to usher guests. When the event begins, you will be able to enjoy the presentation and speakers!
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
