Description

In the Austin Independent School District, there are approximately 2500 unhoused kids. These kids are part of over 1100 AISD families living in a car or doubling up with relatives, often leading to frequent moves. Join us for a virtual conversation around the topic of child and family homelessness in Austin. You will hear from local nonprofit and government leaders about the numbers and specific implications when children in our community do not have a stable place to call home. You will also hear about how to have a tangible impact on this growing problem.
