Capital Metro Community Meeting #2 - Equitable Transit-Oriented Development (ETOD)
Wednesday, November 17, 2021 (11:30 AM - 1:00 PM) (CST)
Please note you'll be redirected to an external Zoom form to complete registration.
Come learn about how transit can help us build a more equitable community!
As Project Connect advances the Blue and Orange Line light rail projects, Capital Metro has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to maximize this significant public transit investment and, together with the City of Austin, set a bold, community-led vision for the future. This vision allows us to work with residents, small businesses, and organizations to explore Equitable Transit-Oriented Development (ETOD) strategies along the Blue and Orange Lines to create inclusive, vibrant, and accessible communities that integrate residential, business, and public space all within walking distance of transit stations.
This study will help determine key ETOD priorities with the community and set recommendations on how those priorities translate to an approach that makes high-capacity transit accessible to more community members.
We will hold additional ETOD Meetings next year and add the Zoom meeting links to the Get Involved page as those dates are finalized.
Live Spanish translation will be available. For other language accommodations, please call 512-904-0180. Requests must be made at least three working days before the scheduled virtual meeting date.
Can’t make it to a live meeting? Visit the Get Involved page between Tuesday, November 16, and Tuesday, December 21, 2021, to review the presentation materials and answer our online survey!
