Kicks & Cocktails Is Back! Join AAULYP for our signature fundraiser. This year join us as we raise $15K for our unhoused neighbors.

On any given night in Austin, there are an estimated 2,506 people who experience homelessness in Austin. The path in and out of homelessness is different for every person and includes individual and systemic factors, including the need for bare essentials for survival. The Austin Area Urban League Young Professionals (AAULYP) are jumping all in to serve and bring voice to the unhoused community.

On March 25th, 2022, AAULYP will host our signature Kicks & Cocktails fundraising event. This year AAULYP will celebrate ten years of community impact and advocacy. As a part of our 10th anniversary, we are dedicating our cause this year to the unhoused neighbors of the Great Austin area.

We believe that everyone deserves access to safety and dignity. Our unhoused neighbors currently lack necessities, shelter, and resources to survive in Austin. On March 25th, we aim to raise $15,000 to support our unhoused advocacy initiatives. Our goal is to supply critical feminine products, fundamental necessities, and mental health resources to our unhoused neighbors.

At this event, we’re asking every attendee to bring an in-kind donation of feminine products, fundamental necessities, or show support through our fundraiser by entering our raffle to win products or services donated by local black-owned businesses in Austin.
