About
Matt House is a communications strategist and former top advisor to Democratic leadership on Capitol Hill, with over a decade of communications and policymaking experience on both sides of the Capitol and numerous campaigns. As a communications consultant, he has advised start up technology businesses, lobbying firms, corporations and individuals, and provided communications advice to clients facing crisis situations and seeking to grow and manage their public profiles.
Called one of the, "sharpest operators on Capitol Hill,” and named to Politico’s Playbook Power List, Matt has developed and implemented communications strategies for the current Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, the Senate Democrats’ war room, a member of the House of Representatives, and multiple statewide campaigns. Roll Call named him a top staffer on Capitol Hill, and Politico notes his reputation, “among colleagues as someone who can both be a day-to-day communicator and a long-term strategist.”
